K - Porcelain Reduction Fired Shino Circle Cup

The shapes and sizes vary on these as they are their own unique pot.

Average size:
Height: 9 - 10cm
Diameter: 10 - 11cm

Gas reduction fired circle cup.

These are fired at a higher temperature, around cone 10.

These are made with porcelain glazed with shino that reacts with the firing depending on thickness, heat and oxygen or lack of in the kiln.

The lighter colour means there was more oxygen and the darker, the oxygen was starved and there was a reduction in atmosphere.

Each of these pieces are all individual and have a different reaction depending on the placement in the kiln, truly magic.
